About
- Tom served as SVP and Global Head of Compliance & Data Privacy at Bayer AG until the end of 2023, where he was a key architect and global sponsor of Bayer's three-year digital transformation project in the Legal and Compliance department, overseeing a team of 1000+ professionals.
- This transformation earned Bayer the "Most Innovative In-House Legal Department in Europe" Award from the Financial Times. Tom also served as the regional Country Caretaker for several Asian regions, including Singapore and India.
- His experience spans Contract Negotiations, Litigation, Investigations, Data Analytics, Process Automation, Leadership, and Change Management. Before joining Bayer, Tom worked at BMW of North America LLC and AT&T Broadband in the US.
- He completed his legal studies at the University of Bonn, Germany, and earned a Master in American and Comparative Law from the University of Denver Law School, supported by a US Fulbright Foundation scholarship.
Tom attended Graduate Business Management Programs at the University of Pittsburgh Katz School of Business and Oxford University's Said Business School, as well as several Digital Transformation Programs at IMD Lausanne. He is admitted to both the German Bar and New York Bar. In 2024.
